Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. Her mother is Swiss and her father is Australian. Her family grew up in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru a small mining town in the Northern Territory and Cairns Australia. With her sister Nina she attended schools that included First Nations children as well as other children of different cultures. Isabel lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was a performer in her school. Following her graduation from Queensland University of Technology, she continued her studies in drama at the Victorian College of Arts. Additionally, she recently completed a course in the Perdekamp emotional technique. Her auditions were not for any roles until she was discovered via her agents in 2002. The audition was for the role of Home and Away, 1988. They felt she was not suitable for this role. They were so impressed, they made another character to play Tasha. In the course of three years, she won the Logie Award as a new actor in the television industry in her character. Isabel was transferred from the city of London in 2008 to Los Angeles in 2008. The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen the year 2009 marked her debut major performance. She has since starred in numerous US and Australian films, and has won several nominations.
